Thank you for visiting Schloneger's coffee.
All our coffee is single origin. Meaning, when I buy from a farmer or region in Colombia or Guatemala and roast that coffee, it is just that coffee, nothing else is added. All the smell, taste and flavor are natural.
I never add flavoring to give it taste, nor do I add a lower price coffee to it and call it a Breakfast Blend or some other name. The flavors you read on the label are from professional people who cup coffee and grade it for quality, taste and flavor.
This sets Schloneger's coffee apart from other coffee roasters that may use use a less quality coffee.
We always purchase current crop coffee which is freshly picked and processed.
The beans we purchase are from the Top Lot of Specialty Coffee. This means they have been cupped by professionals that have the ability to select the best of the best. When available I purchase Organic Coffee Beans.

profit. After their expenses there was not enough money to pay bills and feed their families.
If you ever visit a coffee farmer and witness the hard work for little pay, Your cup of coffee will seem to be a real bargain.

Farmers have many new challenges every year that they have to contend with. The coffee farmers work hard and are able to produce a good crop of coffee with limited resources many times.
I appreciate being able to spend time talking to the farmers and listen to their stories. One man showed me the old Diesel engine he bought which now he can make electric to power his washing station that he installed two years ago. With his own electric power, He is able to do custom work for small area farmers now.
